Card Text: The State Library is situated in Capitol Square, on the summit of Shockoe Hill; it is the largest library in the city, containing over 100,000 volumes, in addition to which there are many portraits of historical personages, and rare manuscripts. The Library is regarded as one of the best in the U.S. This postcard has an undivided back -- Postcards without a dividing line on the back of the card were published in the U.S. between 1901 and 1907.
