State Capitol Building, containing many of the principal executive offices of the State, including that of the Governor. In the rear of the Capitol as shown in this view, is the imposing City Hall Bldg., with its lofty clock-tower. To the left of the City Hall is shown a partial view of the home office of the Life Insurance Co. of Va., and still more to the left appears the ten-story 'Richmond Hotel' with accommodations for 1000 guests.
