VCU Student Literary Publications

About this collection
VCU has a rich tradition of student-run literary publications featuring fiction, poetry, essays, and artwork by VCU students. This collection will bring together digital archives of these publications.

Poictesme is the current undergraduate student literary and arts journal. Funded by student fees, it is published annually. It began as The Writer's Corner in 1980, formally connected to the VCU English Department. In 1997, its title was changed to Millennium before changing titles again to the current Poictesme in 2006.

Presented here are near-complete runs of Millennium and Poictesme. In the future we will add The Writer's Corner as well as issues of other VCU student literary publications.
