Card Text: Richmond possesses numerous public parks, well located and distributed. Among the largest and most popular of these is Reservoir Park, in the western portion of the City. Its velvety sward, shady walks and drives and beautiful lakes affording boating in summer and skating in winter, render it an attractive resort for those seeking amusement or recreation. Within the park area the City maintains an arboreal nursery, reservoir, pumping stations, etc. Beautiful and Historical Richmond, Va. Series No. 99; Postmarked: 1911 |
